How do I transfer my service from one place to another?
You are required to come in our office to make a transfer. If you owe a balance, that amount must be paid as well as a $15.00 transfer fee.

 

My bill says my service will be disconnected if it’s not paid in full by the 20th, but I can’t pay it until next week/ first of the month. Can I get an extension?
We are unable to give extensions for any reason. We understand things happen that are beyond your control, however we must treat every customer the same. There are no exceptions to this rule.

 

I have a question about my garbage. Who do I contact?
Pineville Utility Commission handles the billing on behalf of Waste Connections and Mills Garbage. Any questions or issues regarding garbage collections should be directed to your garbage service provider.  If you reside within city limits, call Waste Connections at 606-573-1230.  If you reside outside city limits, call Mills Garbage at 606-546-3693.

 

I’m getting ready to move out of town. What do I need to do to disconnect service?
You must come to the office with proper identification to disconnect service. You must also provide a forwarding address in which to receive your final bill.

 

How do I get a plumbing permit?
A plumbing permit is required for all new water service connections.  A plumbing permit can be obtained from the State Plumbing Inspector at the Bell County Health Department Environmental Annex located at 306 W. Park Ave. Pineville KY 40977. Call 606-337-9076 for information regarding office hours.
